Peter Scaiff Partner Peter formed the original partnership with Mervyn Bayliss in 1981. He qualified as a solicitor in 1971 and now specialises in company and commercial law. He deals with commercial conveyancing, company formation, partnership matters and commercial litigation. Debt Collection

At Scaiff LLP we have a highly skilled team of lawyers and extensive recovery experience to make sure that everything possible is done to recover your asset or ensure payment of a debt due to you as quickly and as inexpensively as possible.

In the first instance, a 'letter before action' from us often results in payment of a debt or the return of your asset. If court proceedings are required, however, we will arrange for a claim form to be issued and served promptly.

Disputes

We believe that the most appropriate way of settling disputes is by exploring all avenues to reach a commercial settlement and resorting to litigation only if necessary or if it is your preference.

If there is no alternative then we will endeavour to remove as much stress as possible out of the litigation process through agreeing a strategy with you with which you are comfortable.
