Enduring Power of Attorney

An Enduring Power of Attorney enables you to choose someone to manage your financial affairs, should you be unable to do so yourself. Without an Enduring Power of Attorney, nobody is legally entitled to deal with your affairs until a receiver is appointed through an application made to the Court of Protection. This can often be a time consuming process, and you may not necessarily be able to choose who your receiver is.
