What should I do if I have an accident ?
Get names and addresses of the parties, witness/colleagues who saw or
knew what happened. Make sure you seek treatment for your injuries. If
bruised or scarred try to get some clear photos. If incurring expense,
keep records/receipts otherwise we may not secure repayment. If involved
in an RTA notify the police, get insurance details from the other parties,
and pass any correspondence received from the other party to your insurers
or representative.
For further information please call 01905 27505. Alternatively FREEPHONE

Clinical
Negligence
Not all medical accidents occur as a result of negligence. In law, clinical
negligence is defined as treatment which falls below acceptable standards
of medical practice. To succeed in a claim you must also show that you
have suffered loss or damage as a result of the poor standard of care
which you received. So, in order to bring a compensation claim for clinical
negligence, you (the claimant) must show that you have suffered a medical
accident as a result of substandard treatment or negligence.
Our specialist knowledge and experience, together with our extensive network
of contacts (including doctors and experts) means that Scaiff LLP
can help to support your claim and bring quicker results.
We have specialist solicitors that are endorsed by the Law Society so
that you can be assured you are dealing with qualified legal professionals.
